What is a mama blessing?
A mama blessing ritual is a beautiful ritual in the circle of women, that come together towards the end of the pregnancy to bless the mama to be with wishes of wellbeing, health and love for her birth.

It nourishes the mother deeply on an emotional level and gives her the feeling of being held and seen emotionally.
As the centre of the circle, the mother to be is being honoured for her journey through pregnancy and empowered for her transition into motherhood.
The blessing circle offers her the space to look back upon her pregnancy journey and release potential fears so that she can move into her birth in an empowered and confident way in touch with her intuition.
What types of mama blessing rituals are there?
Usually women that are being close to you and you perceive as supportive gather for a blessing circle. For most women (and not only the mother) this is an unforgettable memory that remains with you all your life.
There is also the possibility to do a blessing on your own or with your partner. Another way to experience a blessing is in the circle of other pregnant women. On request we can also arrange an online blessing which can be very powerful as well.
The process and the content are being planned according to your personal preferences. Regularly, a blessing lasts around 2,5 hours. It is being celebrated either in my doula space, your own house, at a friends place or out in nature.
The investment per ritual ist 540 €/ CHF including the cost of further materials that you decided on beforehand.

Tip: A blessing your way ritual is a wonderful present for a pregnant woman, that is often being given to her from friends or family.

Closing the bones rituals

Traditionally this ritual is known as "closing the bones ceremony". It has a long history that reaches far back up to the mayas, who already practiced this ritual. On a spiritual level it was said that during birth the mother has to travel to the stars Auf spiritueller Ebene wurde gesagt, dass die Seele der Mutter bei der Geburt bis zu den Sternen reist, um die Seele ihres Kindes abzuholen. Die Closing Zeremonie sollte sie liebevoll darin unterstützen, wieder ganz in ihrem Körper anzukommen.
Der Raum, der auf der energetischen, emotionalen und körperlichen Ebene nach der Geburt entstanden ist, kann durch das liebevolle Wickeln in Tücher wieder geschlossen werden. Der Blutfluss wird stimuliert und der sanfte Druck in Verbindung mit der Wärme wirken rückbildungsfördernd. Wie der Name des Rituals sagt, werden Organe und Knochen nach der Öffnung der Geburt wieder angeregt ihren Platz einzunehmen.
Auf emotionaler Ebene erfährt die Mama ein Gefühl des tiefen Gehaltensseins während sie selbst ihr Baby hält. Das Ritual ermöglicht ihr, den Geburtsprozess liebevoll zu integrieren und voller neuer Energie ins das bevorstehende Leben als Frau UND Mama zu gehen.
Der Prozess des Closings kann individuell nach Vorlieben gestaltet werden. Er beinhaltet in der Regel einen Teil der Reflexion des Geburtsprozesses, eine Massage, einen Raum für Wärme und Schwitzen in Form eines Bades/ Fussbades/ und oder Yoni Steaming bevor die neugeborene Mama wie in einem Cocon in die traditionellen Tücher gewickelt wird aus denen sie sich wieder befreit, sobald sie bereit ist und ihren Segen empfangen hat.
Oft wird diese Form des Rituals als Abschluss des 6 wöchigen Wochenbettes durchgeführt. Es kann aber auch sehr viel später, bis zu Jahren später erst erfolgen und ist immer ein wertvolles Geschenk an die Mutter.

Der Ausgleich für das circa 3 stündige Ritual beträgt 440 Franken.
